ROOFING SYSTEMS IN BOISE, IDAHO

Single Ply systems are a refreshing alternative to Modified Bitumen or Built – Up Asphalt Roofing and can be applied to virtually any type of building design. The liability risks with single ply systems are overwhelmingly less than the risks with a hot applied system. We offer various types of membrane: PVC, Hypalon, TPO & EPDM. Some manufacturers offer their membrane in a variety of colors, however white is the most popular and least expensive. Fastening options range from Mechanically Attached, Fully Adhered, or Ballasted. All systems offer warranties; choices of 5 or 10 year material warranty, and 10, 15 or 20 year total system warranty.

Metal roofs have become a popular design option; we at Pro Tech Roofing Inc have joined the industry and successfully installed many shapes, sizes, colors and textures. Among these are; metal shingles, standing seam, and snap-lock, just to name a few. Warranties are available.

Pro Tech Roofing, Inc. offers their own 2 year labor warranty with all new & replacement roof contracts.

    •  Reinforced and Non-reinforced membranes
    • White or Black membranes
    • The traditional black color attracts the sun's solar energy and can help reduce heating costs during the cold, northern winters. The EPDM membrane may also help melt snow that can pile up on your roof and lead to potential structural damage if not removed in a timely manner.
    • 45, 60, 75 & 90 mil thicknesses
    •  Widths up to 50′ (15 m) and lengths up to 200′ (61 m)
    • Fleece backing
    • Fire Retardant

    • Hail-resistant qualities
    • Recyclable

    Product Disadvantages:

    • Some EPDM membranes have a low polymer content; which can exhibit sheet shrinkage and a reduction in tear strength.
    • Adhered seams become an important Issue.
    • Talc, mica separation agents or environmental debris must be scrubbed clean prior to bonding seams.
    • Climatic conditions play an important role in quality seaming.
    • Lack of attention to seaming will produce inferior performance.
    • Cold weather installation limitations

TPO

Thermoplastic Polyolefin is produced utilizing a calendaring process where two sheets of the membrane are put together on each side of a reinforcement sheet. These sheets are all run between to large rollers under pressure and heat creating one membrane. TPO has been used as a roofing product since 1992 but was used for many years previously as a waterproofing product in Europe.

MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS

A maintenance program can save you thousands of dollars! You will agree that the roof on your building is a Major Financial Investment, protecting everything and everyone inside for an extended period of time. However, roofs are exposed to severe and relentless forces, such as; the suns heat, U.V. rays, thermal shock, building movement, ponding water, and many miscellaneous abuses. Since the roof is not visible its condition is usually unknown until leaks develop and interior components become damaged and a safety hazard is created.
